On July 9, State Administration for Market Regulation issued an announcement that the management of explosion-proof electrical products from production licenses to compulsory product certification. The announcement states:
1. Since October 1, 2019, explosion-proof electrical, domestic gas appliances and household refrigerators with a calibration volume of 500L or more have been included in the scope of CCC certification management, and each designated certification body has accepted acceptance of certification.
2. The provincial market supervision departments stopped accepting the relevant production license applications, and the administrative licensing procedures have been terminated according to law.
3. Since October 1, 2020, the above products have not obtained the compulsory product certification certificate and the mandatory certification mark, and may not be used in the factory, sold, imported or used in other business activities.
Streamway reminder: Please inform the relevant freight agency and customs brokers to inform the processing and manufacturing enterprises involved in the following products, and prepare for the CCC certification procedures as soon as possible.
