OPTICAL FIBER SENSOR
Optical fiber technology has been used not only in telecommunication, but also in measuring pressure, temperature, vibration, position detection, etc. Last 20 year, the application of optical fiber sensor expand further into spectroscopy in physics, chemistry, biology and medicine. These implementation requires the long-term reliability of the optical fiber in harsh industrial and chemical environments. Primary (LP) & Secondary (LS) coating series are UV curable acrylates useful for the optical fiber needs ultrahigh speed fiber drawing, high temperature stability, biocompatibility, low micro-bending attenuation, and design flexibility.
DISPLAY & OPTICAL FILM
Combining low refractive index and hard coating enable not only guiding and manipulating light, but also making the films more scratch-resistance. Controlling and managing refractive index of coating become the core technology of optical film industry. Low refractive index (low index 1.330 to high index 1.670) SFH series are widely used for various optical function like, minimizing reflection and maximizing transmittance, wave-guide channels for virtual (augmented) reality (AR) display, light direction of LCD backlight and OLED.
OPTICAL ADHESIVE
The refractive index control, high thermal reliability, and curing shrinkage control are crucial material technologies required for the optical devices used in fiber laser, tele-communication and optical sensors. OA series are designed for joining optical paths and fixing optical devices with low shrinkage maintaining strong adhesion with metal and plastics. The refractive index of OA series arrange from 1.330 to 1.630 with thermal stability up to 280°C.
